ListedKit uses a dynamic status system to reflect the progress of your real estate transactions. The status flow differs between buying and selling transactions, allowing for accurate tracking at each stage.
Selling Transaction Status Flow:
- Pre-Listing
- Active Listing
- Under Contract
- Complete/Voided
Buying Transaction Status Flow:
- Pre-Listing
- Make an Offer
- Under Contract
- Complete/Voided
Changing Transaction Status in ListedKit
To change the status of a transaction in ListedKit:
- Open the transaction you want to update.
- Locate the status dropdown menu, typically found near the top of the transaction page.
- Click on the dropdown to view available status options.
- Select the appropriate new status.
- If moving to "Under Contract," you'll be prompted to choose a new Kit.
- Confirm your selection.
Remember, the available status options will depend on whether it's a buying or selling transaction and will follow the respective flow outlined earlier.

Transitioning from Pre-Contract to Under Contract
When a transaction moves from pre-contract (Active Listing for selling, or Make an Offer for buying) to Under Contract, you'll be prompted to select a new Kit. This new Kit will contain the checklists and tasks relevant to the Under Contract phase and beyond.
