What are Advanced Fields in ListedKit?
Advanced Fields lets you customize the kinds of information that you collect and use in various ways such as email automation and creating new transactions using our AI contract reader.
This helps you save time by automating data entry, improving email communications, and generally preventing errors and double entry of information throughout your workflow.
For example, states and localities have differing requirements for data and information gathering and, in some cases, even use different terms for the same information. Advanced Fields let you create unique fields that match these requirements and naming conventions so that you can be sure that all of your transactions are compliant and enable your specific workflows.
How are Advanced Fields Used?
ListedKit comes with a whole bunch of template Advanced Fields, but you may want to create some of your own. In that case, you can simply navigate to the Advanced Fields menu by clicking your icon in the lower-left corner of the app and selecting “Advanced Fields.”
From the Advanced Fields menu, you can perform several actions:
- Create new Advanced Fields
- Edit Advanced Fields
- Deactivate or Activate Advanced Fields
Deactivating or activating Advanced Fields either removes those fields from all of your transactions or makes them viewable for all of your transactions, respectively.
What are Advanced Fields Used For?
Advanced Fields are used primarily for record-keeping and information storage for each transaction.
However, you may also use Advanced Fields to improve email automation with ListedKit. Each Advanced Field is automatically added to a list of variables in our email automation features. Using these variables, you can create template emails that automatically import the data stored in a given advanced field into your emails as they are sent.
Practically speaking, this prevents double entry, saves a ton of time, and prevents errors when emailing your agents and their clients during a transaction.
